Supporting Pastors and Family Caregivers in the Christian Community

At the Faithful Servants Foundation, we provide respite care to pastors and their
families, who are serving in ministry, and family caregivers. We provide this service
because we want to help those who minister to others experience spiritual rest and
sabbath renewal.

Respite Services for Pastors

Just as Jesus gave his life to us, pastors offer their lives every day to the church. They are present in some of the church family’s important moments like baptism, marriage, and burial.

They also help people overcome life’s pain, confusion, heartbreak, and despair by
offering God’s Word, counseling, prayer, and encouragement. Their service can cause stress and fatigue, which often goes unrecognized.

If your family serves in a pastoral role, or if you are a church leader or member who
recognizes that respite care may be helpful to your pastor, please reach out to us.

Family Caregiver Respite

We also provide temporary relief to primary caregivers in charge of supporting and
caring for an adult who is elderly or disabled, and dependent on others.

Family Caregivers are physically, emotionally, and mentally challenged daily by the
care they give to others, which can lead to burnout and exhaustion.

Often, family caregivers don't ask for the help they need when they are overwhelmed physically or financially. They tend to feel guilty about spending important time on themselves rather than on the care of a dependent loved one.
